Tunc Hub 0.7.7 is now available.
New: read the files you work with
Your model can now work with the content inside many files that previously stopped at a filename or binary preview. Tunc Hub extracts readable text, tables, and slide content from:
- Documents: PDF, Word (DOC/DOCX/DOCM), RTF, OpenDocument text (ODT), EPUB, and Apple Pages.
- Spreadsheets: Excel (XLS/XLSX/XLSM/XLSB), CSV/TSV, OpenDocument sheets (ODS), and Apple Numbers.
- Presentations: PowerPoint (PPT/PPTX/PPTM), OpenDocument slides (ODP), and Apple Keynote.
- Messages and archives: EML, Outlook MSG, MBOX, winmail.dat, MHT/MHTML, ZIP, TAR, GZIP, and calendar/contact files (ICS/VCF).
Ask about a particular PDF page or slide, a spreadsheet sheet and cell range, or one attachment or file inside an email or archive. This works with desktop workspace files, supported chat document uploads, and selected Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo attachments. Scanned PDF pages are flagged and can be inspected as images on request; there is no automatic OCR. Document extraction runs on the desktop host. This new capability landed in commit b98317c5.
Other improvements

- Record each lasting Core outage with its reason (d926823b)
- Name the real reason for a lasting Core disconnect (139b3b19)
- Show Core offline only after a 10 s grace, never for a reconnect or at launch (9e616567)
- A healthy connection restarts the reconnect backoff (8eb43122)
Collaboration and run recovery
- The plan tool no longer tells the model to steer people toward a permission mode (a7320a6f)
